Hugo's experience was in Dunnet Head, United Kingdom. He went on 10 of June 2008 for 2 days. He went for tourism, food, health or well-being, relaxation, peace & quiet, get closer to nature, interest or hobby. Hugo went with a group of friends. He got there and around by car or van. Hugo's verdict is: recommended.

I'm sorry to spill the beans but Dunnet Head is apparently the most northerly point on UK mainland. So all you folks who walked, ran, biked, hopped or hitched from John O Groats to Lands end....what were you thinking?

All you need to know in the photo below...

Dunnet Head - a symbolic and fairly scenic northerly spot

Worth a peak but don't get too excited about Dunnet Head. The view is nice, sure, but a little underwhelming as you are pinned into a small tourist walking circuit that is a little paultry. You cannot get too close to the Puffins ;-( but maybe that is just as well as they are perched on a vertical cliff and probably don't want the hassle anyhow.
